Meta Commerce

Create once. Sell everywhere.

Create products on Zorachat and sync them to Meta Commerce Manager. The same catalog powers shoppable cards in WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook — then shoppers checkout on your website and you get paid through your usual processor.

How it actually works

What Meta Commerce Manager actually is

Commerce Manager is Meta’s product catalog — the source of truth Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp use when they show a shoppable card. Zorachat keeps that catalog in sync with the products you create.

01

A catalog, not a checkout

In Meta Business Suite, Commerce Manager stores each product: name, photos, price, availability, description, and a checkout URL that points to your website. WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook read from this catalog when they render a product card in chat or in your shop.

02

Zorachat writes once. Meta shows it everywhere.

You add or update products in Zorachat. Sync pushes those listings into Commerce Manager so the card a shopper sees in Instagram DM is the same item Zora just recommended — same photo, same price, same stock.

03

The card starts the sale. Your site finishes it.

When a shopper taps the card, Meta opens the checkout URL on your store. Native Instagram and Facebook checkout was discontinued around September 2025. You collect payment on your site with the gateway you already use.

04

How you get paid

The customer pays Stripe, Paystack, PayPal, Razorpay, or whichever processor sits on your checkout. That processor settles to your bank. Meta does not take the sale funds. Zorachat does not process or hold the payment — it runs the conversation that got the shopper there.

What you get with Meta Products Sync

Built to keep conversations moving and opportunities captured — without adding work for your team.

Sync with Meta Commerce Manager

Keep titles, images, prices, and availability aligned with the catalog Meta already uses.

Native product cards

Customers see a shoppable card in WhatsApp, Instagram, or Facebook — photo, price, and stock — not just a pasted link.

Checkout on your website

Tapping the card opens the checkout URL you set on the product. Meta no longer runs native Instagram or Facebook checkout.

You get paid

The shopper pays through your processor. Funds settle to your bank. Meta and Zorachat do not hold the sale.

Meta Products Sync — frequently asked questions

What is Meta Commerce Manager?
Commerce Manager is the catalog inside Meta Business Suite. It stores the products WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook use for shoppable cards — name, images, price, availability, and a URL to your website checkout.
What does Meta Products Sync do?
It connects products you create in Zorachat with that Commerce Manager catalog, so the assistant can send the same listings as native cards on WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook.
Do I still need a separate catalog per channel?
No. One Commerce Manager catalog powers WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook. The same assistant can recommend those products in every connected chat.
Can customers pay inside Instagram or Facebook chat?
No. Meta ended native Instagram and Facebook checkout. The product card is the storefront in the thread; tapping it opens your website so the shopper can pay there. WhatsApp can still take an order in chat, with payment through your link or a supported regional WhatsApp payment method.
How do I get paid after someone buys from a product card?
The shopper pays on your checkout through your payment processor (for example Stripe, Paystack, PayPal, or Razorpay). Funds settle to your bank. Meta does not collect the sale. Zorachat does not hold or take a cut of the payment.
Who is the merchant of record?
You are. The order, receipt, refunds, and payout all sit with your store and your processor — the same as any other website sale that started from a chat.
